“I stayed in The New Lantern Motel for about a week in October of 2012. My room was meticulously cleaned, and the motel staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. The furnishings in my room were rather Spartan; however, they were much better than I expected them to be at this price-point. In my humble opinion, The New Lantern Motel is quite possibly the best motel value in the Olean area, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking for clean, convenient lodging while visiting this part of New York State.”

“[I] moved my son into his freshman dorm at St. Bonaventure. Needed to stay the night, and booked this motel a few months ago. Ann, who made my reservation and greeted me when I arrived, has been very friendly like I have known her for a while. The room was great, large, bright and clean, [with a] very large closet, and a good size bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. And a very large flat screen TV. I believe they have the best price in town too. I have already booked my weekend for a family weekend in September. I have found my new overnight place for the next four or five years while I visit my son at college.”
